Treatment Duration

This means that the signs of ageing around the eyes may reappear at some point in the future, though it might not happen for several years, and it may not necessarily align with your actual age.

Type Of Anaesthesia

The choice of anesthesia, either local with sedation or general anesthesia, will be carefully determined during your consultation to ensure it aligns with your best interests. Additionally, you may be advised to discontinue specific medications starting two weeks before the surgery. Depending on the type of anaesthesia selected, fasting from the night before the procedure might also be recommended.

Aftercare Requirements

Upon your discharge, we will provide you with an eye ointment for cleansing. It’s essential to maintain dry eyes for approximately 48 hours. If you experience any post-treatment discomfort, over-the-counter pain relief can be used. We’ll use dissolvable stitches, and your healing progress will be closely monitored through a series of follow-up appointments.

Back To Work (Recovery)

It’s important to note that swelling and bruising may persist for 1-2 weeks, potentially requiring some time off from work. Additionally, please be mindful that driving won’t be possible for several days, and you should steer clear of strenuous exercise and heavy lifting for up to 2 weeks.
