Treatment Duration

The treatment duration is tailored to the specific type of facelift needed. A mini facelift typically takes 1-1.5 hours, while a full face/neck lift may require more time. If additional surgical procedures, like eyelid surgery, are included, the treatment duration may be extended accordingly.

Type Of Anaesthesia

The choice between a local anesthetic (with sedation) or general anesthesia for facial rejuvenation and contouring depends on the chosen approach and techniques. Before discharge, patients undergo a comprehensive examination, and they receive thorough aftercare instructions.

Aftercare Requirements

Rest is essential following any surgical procedure. For approximately two weeks, it’s recommended to limit activity levels and avoid heavy lifting or strenuous exercise. In some cases, wearing a bandage around the head and neck for a few days post-procedure is advised. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled one week after surgery to potentially remove any stitches. Any post-treatment discomfort can typically be managed with over-the-counter pain relief.

Back To Work (Recovery)

Achieving full recovery may require approximately 2-3 weeks. During this period, swelling and bruising typically decrease significantly, and the patient experiences increased comfort. Depending on the nature of the work, it’s advisable to take around 2 weeks off, and maintain low activity levels during this time.
